A carpet python was pictured after it managed to catch a parrot for lunch in Australia. However, after struggling with the bird for over an hour, the carpet python gobbled up the bird in one go. The snake been lying in waiting as the bird landed on a porch, and pounced on it at an unsuspecting moment. The python spent over an hour working on getting the parrot down its throat.
